Toen ik Raak Me Aan voor het eerst hoorde, raakte het me diep.
Voor mij gaat dit lied om de kreet van de vrouw. Het verlangen om écht aangeraakt en gezien te worden.
To me the female gaze & sensuality is not only about physical attraction on the service. It’s about the little details and HOW one can provide love and intimacy. It’s about a setting, colors, smells, how one carries oneself as a person, and thus can be able to carry someone along. How their hands tell me that I’m save. By touch or just by being. Save to enjoy my sensuality self-centeredly. Safety. Freedom. Free from the performance we’ve learned by objectiving ourselves through the eyes of the male gaze.
